Army Medical College Jashore is a private medical college owned by Army Welfare Trust (AWT) of Bangladesh Army. Army Medical College Jashore was established On 10th Jan 2015 with the approval of Ministry of Health & Family Affairs and is functioning directly under the supervision of Army Welfare Trust (AWT of Bangladesh Army & Area HQ, Jashore. Jessore district once belonged to the ancient Janapada of Vanga Janapada. In the 15th century, Jessore was a part of the kingdom of Pratapaditya. It was then conquered by the Mughals.
